NHC

2012 NHC Champion Michael Beychok, a Racingwithbruno subscriber, two months before his victory in Las Vegas, called me on Thanksgiving day weekend, I was up in the press box, the now Mansion at Churchill:

"Since I have been using your works my game has gone to a new level'' was his exact words.

Michael won the NHC by using a 45-1 first time starter at Santa Anita, from the Dan Hendricks barn, we had a 4 star work on our sheet that day.

In a game that most players think they are sitting on the golden egg, and every body knows less, the gentlemen named above and below, showed they were open minded and knew that they would need some help, and you know everyone that is going to the NHC is going to be trying to get all the help they can get.

Everybody is going to have a work report, two or three.

The late Brian Herrity, a very good handicapper and tournament player used to always tell me:

"The way I use your product is I check to see if you have something that I don't have. It has helped me make some big scores."

From my perspective, I don't look at the races like everyone else. I have a visual approach that most cannot match.

I was listening to a in house handicapping show on Saturday, had it in the background, and all I heard was, 'golden rail', 'best Beyer', 'dead rail', 'speed was no good', and 'speed was good that day'.

That was it, there was no insight, other than subjective approach to where a horse raced on the track.

If that is your repertoire, you got no shot. You simply think like most neophytes.

You want to make money in racing, win, you need to visually comprehend horses

With all its drama yesterday, visually the TAMPA BAY Derby pace, looked slow.

Most handicappers had to check the splits, what happens when you can see a work, or a race and understand it visually, you are miles ahead of the competition.

That is, frankly, the last and final handicapping frontier.

In my opinion, If you handicap like its 1999 with figs & bias, just go straight to the nickel slots, you got no shot at the NHC.
