We all love a good hot dog, a 'Ball Park Frank' but too afraid to ask how its made or whats in it, of course and in this case i am not even curious.

We have a tendency to criticize or be judgmental in today's society without even knowing or caring about how the sausage or ball park frank is made.

I prefer a turkey frank but I also walk to my own beat of a drum, and understand how complicated things can be not readily available to the righteous individuals.

There is a process to the madness, but very few people take the highway to learning by asking question, being curious, instead they judge and as a matter of fact and scientific studies we are becoming dumber and dumber by the day.

Be curious, not judgemental, a great episode on the wonderful Ted Lasso:

In my life time, as Jason Sudekis, aka Ted Lasso, eloquently spoke about 'all these people, if they were curious, they would ask questions but they chose not ask questions and become judgmental. In reality, it has nothing to do with me.

We arrived at the Carlsbad condo on Tuesday evening, negotiating a Lexington, Kentucky, to Carlsbad California in three days, in the process I am behind 4 days on videos but I did get minus sheet number. Now the real work begins.

"Don't you have people for that?"

Actually for what, obviously, you are not letting your brain suffer because Identifying, and processing videos is not something you get 'Joe Six pack to handle.

The process, it's streamlined for my needs to be able identify horse.

"Don't you have someone telling you who the horses are and the order they went in?"

The biggest issue with clocking and identifying horses is to actually pay attention to who the horse is and you only know that by being able to recognize the horse, you tend to notice the rider, the gait, and most of all how the horse is traveling.

Having some one give you a 'list' doesn't help you, actually paying attention to the animal is the key. Who the horse is and in relative terms to the work is the key to understanding.

So, No, I do not have some one to do that, can you do it? Not no but hell no. 99.9% of the industry wouldn't know who a horse is unless i have listed on the video and if in a team who is inside or outside, for some its even a task to figure that out.

I had one guy confused about a team one day, one was a grey, the other chestnut, and he couldn't figure it out, despite having the past performances of the horses named in front of him, he actually was giving me goff (not Jared). I told him he needed Hooked on Phonics.

As i mentioned before, some have the IQ of a box of rocks, and the reality that's an insult to a box of rocks.

The way we identify the videos and post, is first to identify the barn, color, markings, rider, gait and the scope of the work. That's all.

We have to refer to our work tab which we have markings, trainer, time, etc. and identify the animal. We analyze the work as well during the identification, We then have to process the video for the graphics which creates a thumbnail and ten minutes later posted on the video library.

how do you think a general Joe would fare. He would have frozen in the post parade.

We got over 200 videos, closer to 250 Friday, Saturday, Sunday, as I was on the road, I got three days or more to catch up.

The priorities are horses entered in upcoming races, gate works and at this time of year Breeders Cup.

So, this morning i got all the groundwork done and will begin to posting videos.

One caveat, horseplayers can be wonderfully gifted, smart, but on the flip side Lazy as a fat cat. They want their meow mix put in a warm bowl right in front of them, they won't go out of their way.

For example, they look on the day a horse worked and don't see it, scoff it off and not come back to look for that horse, then criticize or be judgmental.

If they had been really curious they would have checked back a couple of days later and since we always add works, you have to search for it, for some its too much work, its easier to bitch about it, or forget about it.

Meanwhile the smart ones, understand, and wait to see later on who was added and not, this takes some brain power to know what you want to see and follow up.

Social media has really hastened the plummeting IQ epidemic because most people want it now, right in front of them, as my mother used to say "don't let the brain suffer' sounding much better in Italian 'No fai suffrire le cervelle''.

Be curious, ask questions, trust me, it works, I answer questions I don't answer to ignaramouses who think they know everything.
