Time Out

You got three time outs, three chances to stop the clock, and you know how many fail and run out of time outs? Then you are locked out, that's when you write with " I AM LOCKED OUT, CAN'T DOWNLOAD THE PRODUCT! ".

I feel I have to explain why you were locked out first of all, you failed to follow instructions:

It's like handicappers who keep betting a particular jockey or a horse off a workout report and when it doesn't work out, blast the jockey or the workout report.

Bad habits, bad habit kill handicappers, and one of them is NOT FOLLOWING INSTRUCTIONS.

It starts with the little things, like downloading your file on your hard drive, PC, tablet. It's that simple.

One of the easiest ways is you email your file to yourself on your phone. Smart phones are not as smart as they think they are, its hard to save something on your phones, you have Apps for that.

Good Notes is a great app, and I recommend it frequently, but its like me pushing a first time starter and the handicapper ignores it because the stats tell him he doesn't fire regularly first out, and later have egg on their face because they thought they were smarter.

Don't you think I see the same stat but I pass on many of his or her horses, until the right one. As Amy Kearns always reminds me "don't be an idiot''.

There is a reason for me liking that first time starter, there is a reason I say SAVE YOUR FILE.

You have three timeouts on the site before it locks you out, it is meant for those whom allow their buddies to go on with the password and download products illegaly.

Hello, McFly!!!? It's not cool to allow others to take someone else's work without paying, our people work hard. I am guessing If I walked over to your cublicle at work, and took your paycheck you worked hard for, I think you would have an issue with that.

So, its there for a reason, SAVE YOUR FILE, in big bold red letters.

The site just like the game of horseracing is all about following instructions.

You have rules just like I have, I have tendency to shy away from barns that are cold. If you know the barn is 0 for 20 and you keep hammering away because the 5 year stat says they win at 20%, you are asking for trouble.

Stats are the worse thing you can follow handicapping. I have never heard more handicappers bemoaning how they liked that $25 horse but the stats weren't in favor of it.

That's why it paid for $25, because other knuckleheads were thinking the same thing, if it looked good on the stats were favorale it would 5/2, right or wrong?

Its just like SAVE YOUR FILE, and here you are going back and forth on the Brunowiththeworks.com like its a library without the hot librarian.

It's not a library, you check out your product, save and do the back and forth on your computer, once again, Good Notes is a fantastic app for tablet and Iphones, stores your pdf you can even right on them, keep notes, but instead you have to go to your email box, or text and get a hold of me to stop what I am doing to bail you out.

I am the fixer, the one who bails you out, in handicapping and simply downloading a product, and then you expect to bet the races and win.

We are ALL knuckleheads at one time or another, but I prefer to keep mine at a minimum, about you? For starters, I try to follow instructions.

I have a simple rule during the races, don't spill anything on your desk, no beverage, if Ihave to have a beverage, it has a top on it to prevent spillage. Why?

Simple, you have eletronics on your desk, beer, water, coca cola, hot tea doesn't mix well with computers, phones, and most of all paper. Who knew?

Back in 2016, I loved the early pick 5 and pick 4 at the Spa I had my lunch on my desk, my soft drink and as I am formulating my plan, I spill my drink all over my computer, past performances and myself. My turkey sandwich from Roma is now soggy as well.

I can't formulate my plan for the pick 5, my keys are sticky, my lunch takes like Dr pepper, and I have a cleanup on Aisle 5.

By the time I get cleaned up and un-sticky myself, its post time, and my horses at 12-1 wins, and I got no pick 5 in the books. I am swearing under my breath at myself, I violated my own cardinal rule. I was an idiot.

I do get my act together and I am determined to NOT let this ruin my day. No way!

I safely have another drink with a child proof top, seriously, and put in my pick 4.

I hit the pick 4 that day for $23K. The pick 5 came back $59K, that would have been an $82K score I blew because I didn't follow my own instructions.

You have your own stories of failing to heed your own adivce and common sense.

One guy missed a score because he locked himself out and I wasn't available for a half an hour. Oh, and that's important, i may be busy and can't get to you right away, I may be cleaning my own mess, unsticking my keys on my computer.

"Don't you have people for that?" one guy asked when I was an hour late replacing his file because he couldn't SAVE HIS FILE.

"Don't you have people for that?" he meant don;t you have people to clean up my fuck-ups.

The answer is simple, you want to succeed at horseracing, it all starts with you, it starts with some sort of discipline to follow instructions. SAVE YOUR FILE, for starters.
